Job Description Principal Patient Safety Officer at Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center in Tarzana, CA. This position is Full Time and will work 40-hour, Day shifts.

Under the general supervision of the Director Risk Management, the Patient Safety Manager is responsible for overseeing and implementing systems and processes to ensure the safety of patients. This includes monitoring and analyzing patient safety data, developing, and implementing improvement initiatives to prevent errors and accidents, conducting safety training for staff, and investigating and addressing any incidents that compromise patient safety.

Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Healthcare related field.
- California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire.
- 5 years Acute care hospital.
Preferred Qualifications: - Master's Degree in Nursing or Healthcare related field.
- Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) upon hire.
- 2 years of Patient safety experience.
