Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring an active MA license and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
Responsibilities
- Position is in the PACU within the OR department of a hospital setting
- Patient population includes year-round residents and a significant influx of seasonal visitors
- Utilizes Epic for charting and documentation
- Five 8-hour day shifts with variable start times, including required call on nights, weekends, and holidays
- No RTO (time off) is permitted during the assignment
- Must be able to provide documentation and references as part of the application process
- Parking may require use of public options with daily fees as no validated parking is provided
- Epic charting experience is beneficial
- Permanent residence must be at least 60 miles from Boston for standard travel rate
- Holiday and on-call coverage are required as part of the assignment schedule
Requirements
- Active MA RN license in hand at the time of consideration, with no pending or conditional licenses accepted
- Minimum of 2 years RN experience required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required, AHA certifications preferred
- Proof of primary COVID-19 vaccination and flu vaccination required, with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
