Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring a GA or Compact license and a minimum of 18 months recent OR experience.

Responsibilities

Work in the Surgery department within a hospital setting
Role focuses on perioperative patient care in the operating room
Day shift, 10-hour shifts
No on-call responsibilities
Assignment duration is 13 weeks
No local candidates accepted; must live at least 50 miles from the facility
Former permanent staff must be separated from the health system for 1 year, and 18 months if returning to the same facility
Time off requests are limited to 5 days for non-holiday periods and 3 days if including a holiday; only one holiday request is permitted
Several days of time off during the holidays will not be approved and must be spread apart
Detailed peri-op questionnaire required for CVOR candidates

Requirements

Active GA or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
Minimum of 18 months RN experience in an OR setting
CVOR candidates must have 18 months full-time experience within CVOR of similar acuity within the last 3 years
Cardiac and vascular procedure experience preferred for CVOR positions with strong endovascular background
