Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Critical Care ICU position in California requiring an active CA RN license and recent ICU experience.

Responsibilities

Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital setting
Night shift position with 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
36 hours per week schedule
Patient population includes critically ill adults
Uses the Epic EMR system
Provide high acuity patient care in the ICU setting
May handle dialysis and specialized treatments for critical patients
Epic experience preferred but not required
Contingent workers may not exceed two years in assignment without a mandatory 90-day break
Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers

Requirements

Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Minimum 1 year of recent (within last 3 years) full-time ICU experience required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
NIH Stroke Scale Certificate and CCRN preferred
Experience with dialysis, SLED, or equivalent is preferred
Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred
Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration
