Job Description: Emergency Department Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Location: Blue Ridge, GA

The Staff Pad has partnered with Blue Ridge Medical Center in Blue Ridge, GA, to find a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their Emergency Department team. The LPN will play a vital role in supporting emergency care delivery under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician. This position requires strong clinical skills, quick decision-making, and the ability to provide quality care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
Administer medications and injections as ordered.
Assist in emergency procedures and patient assessments.
Monitor and document vital signs, promptly reporting changes in patient status.
Support the care team in stabilizing patients and preparing them for admission or discharge.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team during stressful situations.

Qualifications:

Current LPN license in the state of Georgia (or ability to obtain).
Previous experience in emergency, urgent care, or acute care settings preferred.
BLS certification required (ACLS and PALS preferred).
Strong critical thinking skills and ability to perform under pressure.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
