Decision Support Administrator Remote and or Hybrid
Description :
DSI is searching for an advanced Decision Support Administrator.
Responsibilities:
- Supports the user community in the use of business intelligence tools to query files and databases for report outputs. ssists customers in use of OLAP tools, extracts and collects data for performing queries and writing reports. Reviews queries for performance issues, making changes as needed. Participates in the design and development of reports, as well as creation of user documentation. Monitors customer usage, upgrades enterprise-wide OLAP query and reporting tools, monitors batch queries and ensures interoperability and security of various front-end components.
- Maintains meta data coordination and supports production system. Needed knowledge includes process and data modeling and data architectural development methodologies.
- Provides support for user community. Works on one or more projects as a project team member. Functions, relatively independent, under direction of senior professionals, supervisors, or managers.
- Perform data preparation activities, including cleaning and preprocessing, to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability across all datasets. The Contractor shall apply appropriate statistical techniques to analyze trends, patterns, and relationships, and shall conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover insights. All analytical results shall be interpreted within the context of Florida Commerce's objectives to ensure relevance and support informed decision-making.
- Develop and execute SQL queries to extract and manipulate data as required. Queries shall be optimized for efficiency and performance while maintaining strict data integrity standards. The Contractor shall ensure that all ctivities support accurate, timely, and actionable analysis aligned with Florida Commerce's operational and strategic needs.
Requirements :
- Contractor shall possess the professional and technical staff necessary to perform the IT Staff Augmentation Services required by this Contract, and the staff shall have sufficient skills and experience to perform the services assigned to them.
- ssociate's or Bachelor's Degree or technical institute degree/certificate in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or;
- Equivalent work experience (A minimum of seven (7) years of IT experience, five (5) years of experience in business intelligence tools and systems, and five (5) years of experience with economic and/or statistical analysis).
