- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (8 Hour Nights)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 11/3/2025 – End: 1/31/2026)
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2560 - $2750
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in New Jersey
- Minimum 2 years of recent travel nursing experience in large hospital settings with high-risk pregnancies
- ACLS Certification – Required
- BLS Certification – Required
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments for labor, delivery, and postpartum care
- Deliver safe, competent nursing care to labor & delivery and maternity patients
- Demonstrate proficiency with emergency medical equipment and clinical procedures
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation, including patient education and progress notes
- Promote patient satisfaction by communicating professionally with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Adhere to National Patient Safety Goals and Universal Protocols, including patient identification
- Individualize patient care based on procedures and anesthesia type
- Collaborate with the perioperative team, prioritize patient care, and respond to changes in patient condition
- Assess patient understanding of procedures; provide pre- and post-operative education
- Support completion of patient testing and evaluate Pre Admission Testing (PAT) orders
