Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring critical care or emergency experience and a compact or NC RN license.
Responsibilities
- Hospital-based Interventional Radiology department in an academic Level 1 trauma center
- Supports procedures for both inpatients and outpatients, including trauma cases
- Handles approximately 40-55 procedure cases per day
- Provides support to additional radiology modalities: CT, MRI, Cardiac MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, GI/GU, and X-Ray
- Works weekdays with schedule cycles every 6 weeks
- Weekend, on-call, and holiday coverage required as needed to support the department
- No floating required
- Uses Epic Radiant EMR with experience preferred
- Main duties include sedation and care for patients undergoing a variety of interventional radiology procedures
- Department values teamwork and maintains a positive atmosphere
- Orientation includes facility onboarding and two days of departmental training
- Hospital-issued scrubs are required

Requirements
- Active NC or compact RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred
- Minimum 12 months of core experience in interventional radiology, critical care, or emergency nursing with recent experience within the last year
- Skilled in moderate sedation and acute/emergent care
- Experience working alongside radiologists and radiology technicians
