Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular Thoracic Transplant ICU position requiring an IN or compact RN license and strong cardiac ICU skills.

Responsibilities

Work in the Cardiovascular Thoracic Transplant ICU within a hospital setting
Care for cardiac medical and surgical patients, including transplant cases
Manage cardiac devices as part of daily responsibilities
Handle a patient ratio of 1:2 in the ICU
Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
13-week assignment
Responsibilities include advanced cardiac care and management of critically ill patients
Familiarity with cardiac devices is expected
Local candidates are accepted but may be offered a different rate depending on proximity to the facility
COVID-19 vaccine is not required
All positions are offered on an auto offer basis
Travelers should begin discussing extension options 45 days before assignment end date

Requirements

Active IN or compact RN license required
Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
NIH Certification required
Verification through Nursys required within 30 days prior to start
Candidates must have a valid US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
Copy of Driver’s License required
Two professional references required
