Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring ability to scrub and circulate in ortho cases at an acute care facility.

Responsibilities

Position is in the Operating Room at an acute care facility
Primary patient population is orthopedic with a focus on total joint replacements
Day shift, 8-hour shifts, 32 hours per week, with no availability for 10 or 12 hour shifts
Call rotation is required during the assignment
Uses Evident CPSI charting system
Increased caseload will include total joint replacements
Candidates must be open to participating in call rotation
Daytime hours only, with a consistent 32-hours per week schedule
Opportunities for contract extensions may be available

Requirements

Active OH or compact RN license required
Minimum of 3 years of recent Operating Room nursing experience
Current certifications in BLS and ACLS required
Must be able to both scrub and circulate
Prior orthopedic OR experience is required
