Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license or multistate compact license
- BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
- NIHSS certification (Stroke care)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience
- Stroke care experience required
- AHCA clearance required for Florida travel nursing jobs
Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Stroke Unit
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
- Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery processes
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures
