🏥 Travel Nurse Position – PICU (Float Pool)

📅 Start Date: October 27
🕒 Contract Length: 18 weeks
📍 Location: California (CA license required)
📄 Licensure: Pending license OK

🔄 Position Details

🧑‍⚕️ Float Pool Position
⏰ Shift: 3x12 variable
- 4–5 weekend day shifts (Sat–Sun)
- 5–6 night shifts (Fri–Sat)
- ❌ One full weekend off every 4-week schedule
🧳 First-time Travelers Accepted: ✅ Yes
🧠 Experience Required:
- Minimum 2 years PICU experience
- OR strong CVICU background with floating experience
📅 Weekend Requirement: See shift details above
📞 On-call Required: ✅ Yes
🔄 Floating:
- Within facility: ✅ Yes
- To sister facilities: ❌ No

🧾 Certifications Required

🫀 BLS
👶 PALS

💉 Other Requirements

💻 Epic EMR experience
🧳 Preferred: Travel or float experience
💉 Flu shot required

🛏️ Scheduling & Time Off

📦 Block Scheduling: ❌ Not available
🗓️ RTO Restrictions:
- Max 6 days off
- Must still work 3 shifts in that week
💯 Guaranteed Hours: After meeting the facility’s call-off policy
🏠 Locals Accepted: ✅ Yes

🎉 Holiday Requirement

🎄 Traveler must work 2 out of 3 major holidays, including holiday eves
