- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
- Staffing: 4:1 patient ratio, unit secretary support
- Technology: Latest GE monitors, new ultrasound, advanced stretchers, Meditech EMR system
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,470 - $1,570 per week
ER Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Tennessee or compact state
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- TNCC and ENPC certifications preferred
- Ability to float to Free Standing Emergency Room (FSER) site as needed
- Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills
- Compliance with hospital policies and patient care standards
- Required uniform: Black or Royal Blue scrubs
ER RN Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency care to patients in a fast-paced ER setting
- Perform standard and advanced ER procedures using state-of-the-art equipment
- Accurately document patient care in the Meditech EMR system
- Collaborate with physicians, unit secretaries, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient environment for patients and staff
- Meet patient experience goals and adhere to all emergency department guidelines
- Participate in flexible scheduling and float to other ER sites as needed
