Travel Nursing Job Details
- Job Title: Operating Room Circulator RN – Travel Nursing
- Location: Niagara Falls, NY 14301 (New York healthcare jobs)
- Assignment Type: 13-week travel contract (September 11, 2025 – December 6, 2025)
- Healthcare Setting: Operating Room (OR)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Shift: Day shifts, 10 hours (7:00am – 5:00pm or 9:00am – 7:00pm)
- On-Call: Rotational weekday and weekend on-call, including holidays
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (New York RN license preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience as an Operating Room Circulator RN
- BLS certification (American Heart Association required)
- Ability to participate in on-call rotation (weekday and weekend coverage)
- Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills
Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities
- Serve as the circulating nurse in the operating room, ensuring patient safety and supporting the surgical team
- Prepare the OR for surgical procedures, verify patient identity, and maintain sterile technique
- Monitor and document patient status throughout surgery
- Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and healthcare staff to facilitate efficient workflow
- Respond promptly to surgical emergencies and adapt to changing situations
- Participate in on-call rotation, providing coverage for weekday evenings and one weekend day every 4th to 5th weekend
Compensation
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2,330 - $2,500
