Key Job Details – OR Scrub RN Travel Assignment
- Location: Keene, NH 03431 (New Hampshire healthcare jobs)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (10/13/2025 – 1/12/2026)
- Shift: 8-hour day shifts; flexibility required for occasional evening needs
- Hours: 40 hours per week guaranteed
- On-Call: Weekdays 3:30pm–7:00am (about 1 in every 5–6 days); Weekends Friday 3:30pm–Monday 7:00am (about 1 every 5–6 weeks)
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing, Registered Nurse contract
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2380–$2550
Qualifications – Operating Room Registered Nurse
- Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room (OR) experience as a Scrub RN (circulate RNs and scrub techs not eligible)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire
- BLS certification (AHA required)
- Proficiency in multiple surgical specialties
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively in high-pressure clinical settings
- Personal vehicle required for transportation
- Permanent address must be provided with application (local travelers within 50 miles not considered)
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with application (maximum 5 days RTO accepted)
- Willingness to work two major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s and adjacent weekends)
Responsibilities – OR Scrub Nurse
- Perform scrub RN duties in the Operating Room, supporting a range of surgical procedures: endocrine, breast, oncologic, gastrointestinal, colon and rectal, and hepatobiliary surgeries (open and laparoscopic)
- Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care
- Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection control standards throughout all procedures
- Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling, including occasional evening shifts and on-call coverage
- Accurately document patient care using EPIC EMR
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the broader healthcare team
