- Shift: 8-hour day shifts, 5 days per week
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) position
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,560 - $2,750
PACU RN Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States
- 1-2 years of recent acute care experience in PACU, Post-Anesthesia Care, or Pre-Op nursing
- Prior travel nursing experience required (first-time travelers not considered)
- Current certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- EPIC EMR experience highly preferred
- Flu vaccine required during flu season
- Willingness to work every other major holiday
PACU Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in PACU and Pre-Operative settings
- Monitor and assess patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Accurately document patient care using EPIC EMR
- Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery processes
- Maintain a safe, supportive environment for patients and staff
