Travel Nursing Job Details

- Healthcare Setting: Operating Room, Level 3 Trauma Center
- Assignment Type: Travel Operating Room RN
- Start Date: October 20, 2025
- End Date: January 16, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Nursing Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:00am – 7:00pm)
- Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
- Weekend Rotation: Every 4th weekend (scheduled shift or call)
- Call Requirement: Average 6 call shifts per 6-week schedule, 45-minute response time
- Holiday Coverage: Work 75% of holidays during assignment
- Free Parking & Scrubs Provided
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1470-$1570
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of recent Operating Room RN experience
- Active North Carolina RN license or compact state eligibility
- BLS certification required
- CNOR certification preferred
- Proficiency in circulating for a wide range of surgical specialties: trauma, ortho trauma, total joints, spine, cardiac, vascular, GYN, GYN-oncology, robotics, general, HPB, bariatrics, urology, ENT, ophthalmology, pain, plastics
- Strong teamwork, flexibility, and self-motivation
- First-time travel nurses not accepted
OR RN Responsibilities
- Circulate and assist in complex surgical procedures across multiple specialties
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain strict adherence to safety and infection control protocols
- Respond to call shifts and adapt to changing case needs, including nights and weekends
- Participate in orientation and ongoing departmental education
- Contribute to a positive, supportive operating room culture
