Travel ICU RN Job Details

- Unit: Nursing Resource (ICU/PCU Float)
- Start Date: November 3, 2025
- End Date: January 31, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts
- Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
- Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
- Scrubs: Any color (navy blue preferred; no camo)
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1780–$1910
ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active RN license (Washington state preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (required); CCRN (preferred)
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR (required)
- Strong clinical skills in cardiac rhythm interpretation, telemetry monitoring, ventilator/trach and BiPAP management, invasive line management, ostomy care, general drains, chest tubes, and IV medication titration
- Ability to float to PCU and ED overflow as needed
- First-time travel nurses are encouraged to apply
ICU RN Responsibilities
- Float throughout Auburn and Covington facilities to provide ICU-level and progressive care nursing
- Care for a diverse patient population, including respiratory failure, ESRD, AKI, COPD, GI bleeds, DKA, sepsis, post-op, CVAs, ETOH, and overdose cases
- Spend majority of time (75%) with PCU-level patients in ED overflow
- Lead in ED holding as needed
- Utilize Alaris IV pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care
