Med/Surg RN Job Details

- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (days/nights), including weekends
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1990 - $2130 per week
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Nebraska or compact state)
- Minimum 1 year of recent medical-surgical nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to work rotating shifts and weekends
- Strong clinical skills and adaptability in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in the medical-surgical unit
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed
- Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, clinical standards, and safety regulations
