- Position: Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) – Locum Tenens
- Location: Phoenix, AZ 85013
- Healthcare Setting: On-Site
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 20, 2025
- Nursing Shift: 12-hour nights (3x12-hour shifts per week)
- Weekly Hours: 36
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,570 - $1,680
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license (Arizona or compact state)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg bedside clinical experience (2 years preferred)
- BLS certification (required before first shift)
- ACLS certification (required before first shift)
- Epic EMR experience
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans for Med/Surg patients
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care and accurately document interventions and patient responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for patient rehabilitation and discharge planning
- Supervise and provide direction to Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees
- Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff, following all hospital safety protocols
- Participate in team meetings, communicate changes in patient status, and foster a positive work environment
- Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed after orientation
- Engage in ongoing professional development and self-study
