Allied Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Cath Lab Technologist - Cath Lab Tech
Job Details:
• Work 10-hour shifts with 7-12 days of call per month
• Call every 3rd to 4th weekend with 30-minute response time requirement
• Potential holiday call responsibilities
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credential through Cardiovascular Credentialing International preferred
• Perform duties for diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures with minimal supervision
• Function in multiple roles including scrub/assistant in sterile field, control room monitoring, and second circulator
• Assist with patient care in pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure environments
• Set up and operate hemodynamic monitoring equipment
• Monitor patients receiving moderate conscious sedation
• Prepare vascular access sites and place peripheral IV access
• Collect and analyze arterial and venous blood samples
• Obtain arterial hemostasis following procedures
• Support procedures including coronary catheterization, pacemaker placement, pericardiocentesis, IABP operation, and electrophysiology procedures
• Prepare cardiac catheterization laboratory and operate all equipment correctly
• Complete daily checks for emergency equipment functionality
• Maintain radiation safety practices following ALARA standards
• Assess equipment function and document defective devices
• Participate in supply ordering and inventory maintenance
• Function as cardiology educator for patients and staff
