Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- At least 1 year of recent experience in Telemetry or Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) nursing
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
- Ability to provide requested time off (RTO) at submission
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Travel RN – Telemetry Job Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in the Intermediate Care Unit with a focus on telemetry monitoring
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond promptly to changes in patient status
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions as prescribed
- Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and recovery expectations
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record
