Travel Nursing Job Details

- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Guaranteed Hours: 24 per week
- On Call: Schedule determined by facility
- Weekend Schedule: To be determined by facility
- Completion Bonus: $7,500 upon successful completion of assignment
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years (24 months) of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience (required)
- Active Arizona RN license (must be verified within 30 days of submission)
- Current certifications (AHA or American Red Cross):
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- AFM (Advanced Fetal Monitoring)
- No license restrictions or disciplinary actions
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Must not have an Arizona home address on driver's license
- Compliance with Banner Health background and documentation requirements
Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns in the Labor & Delivery unit
- Monitor, assess, and document patient status throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation per hospital and healthcare standards
- Participate in on-call and weekend rotations as scheduled
