Talent4Health is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in New York, New York.

Requirements:

Must have Pediatric Cardiac ICU experience in a hospital setting
Minimum 2 years of recent experience required
BSN required
Active NY RN license
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required

Job Summary:
The Pediatric Clinical Nurse provides safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care to pediatric cardiac ICU patients and their families. This role integrates clinical expertise, critical thinking, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Deliver relationship-centered nursing care based on the nursing process and research.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on care plans and patient rounds.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment, discharge, and follow-up care.
Demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and effective communication at all times.
Promote patient safety, quality improvement, and adherence to institutional protocols.

Experience with: Pediatric cardiac ICU patients Modified Primary Nursing care model EPIC or similar EMR systems
