Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) was created with the purpose of providing integrated enterprise IT support to Federal customers both CONUS and OCONUS. CARS employs Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with decades of experience working in the Federal marketplace.
The
Intermediate PSOC Administrator provides 24/7/365 monitoring services of the customer's IT-enabled Mission Services and operational infrastructure located in Springfield, VA.
Responsibilities - Actively monitor the status of assigned and supported operational systems and services.
- Actively monitor the approved tools for critical server error notifications
- Communicate with on-site O&S support for resolutions
- Respond to phone calls requesting production systems support and attempt to resolve the issue during the initial call.
- Provide timely status updates to ESC personnel in preparation for briefings
- Participate in Service Restoration meetings
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years relevant experience OR
- Associate's degree and 6+ years relevant experience OR
- High school diploma or GED equivalent and 8+ years relevant experience
- Operational experience with ServiceNow
- Experience in the Intelligence Community
- DoD 8140 (formerly -M), IAT Level II: CCNA-Security; GICSP; GSEC; Security+ CE (within 6 months)
- TS/SCI Clearance
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Ability to work weekends as needed
- Ability to work day or night shifts (8-hour Shifts). Would be considered the floater on the team.
- Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting
- Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time-related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals
- Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, and experience working in a home office setting, as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues.
- Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor, and previous customer service experience strongly desired.
- Good problem-solving skills: ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it
