Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts/week

Position Overview

Bellevue Hospital Center is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for a Neuro ICU travel assignment. Nurses will provide care to critically ill patients with neurological conditions, including post-surgical, stroke, and trauma cases. Candidates must have strong critical care experience and the ability to manage complex neurological cases in a high-acuity setting.

Certifications & Requirements

RN License: Active New York State RN License – Required
Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS – Required
Experience: Minimum 2 years of critical care experience – Required
Skills: IV insertion, phlebotomy, conscious sedation – Required
Charting System: EPIC
Travel Experience: Preferred but not required
Teaching Hospital Experience: Preferred

Skills & Competencies

Critical care nursing in a high-acuity ICU setting
IV insertion and phlebotomy
Conscious sedation administration and monitoring
Neurological assessments and stroke protocols
Management of ventilated and post-surgical neuro patients
Hemodynamic monitoring
Seizure precautions and neurological deterioration protocols
EVD, ICP monitoring care
Rapid response/code team participation
Infection control and isolation protocols
