RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• No weekends required, some holidays may be required
• No call requirements
• Must be available to work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Christmas Eve + Day = 1 holiday)
• Required to pick up one additional shift during each 4-week schedule period
• Nevada RN license required prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• 2+ years of OR experience required and must be well versed in all procedures
• Work in Same Day Surgery Center with 8 operating rooms
• Care for patients from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Handle procedures including General, Ortho (Small Joints, Total Shoulders), ENT, Ophthalmology, Pediatrics, Plastics, Gynecology, Dental, Oral Maxillofacial, and minimal Endoscopy
• May be required to float to other units based on competency level
• Provide comprehensive nursing services utilizing the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Coordinate care between other professionals as needed
