Duties Help
- You will handle a broader range of complex and specialized supplies and services.
- You will review purchase descriptions for completeness and accuracy, consolidating similar requisitions, and determining if requirements can be ordered against existing contracts.
- You will prepare orders against these contracts and draft more complex solicitations, amendments, contracts, and contract modifications.
- You will utilize the Electronic Procurement System (ePS), input purchase requests, prepare solicitations, offer-evaluations, and award documents.
- You will solicit quotations from small businesses, prepare purchase award documentation using SF1449 or DD 1155, and review offers for price reasonableness, performing price or cost analysis, as necessary.
- You will prepare contract administration documentation, modifications, and post-negotiation memoranda.
- You will monitor contract performance to ensure compliance and resolve issues related to funding, delivery, contract changes, and contractor performance.
- You will assist with procuring and administering Simplified Acquisition Procurements.

Qualifications For the NT-04 pay band: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-03 (GS-09/10 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
performing contract oversight, analyzing contract data for acquisitions and contract management in the procurement of materials or services. For the NT-03 pay band: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-02 (GS-05/08 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
applying analytical concepts and practices to reviewing accuracy and completeness of contracts in support of acquisition planning and development. For the NT-04 pay band:
Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; OR
Successful completion of three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree; OR
Successful completion of an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled; OR
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
For the NT-03 pay band:
Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree; OR
Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher graduate level education leading to a master's degree; OR
Successful completion of an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to the position being filled; OR
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
