Key Responsibilities of the Emergency Department RN:
Provide immediate and high-quality nursing care to patients with urgent or emergent conditions.
Perform rapid assessments, administer medications, and implement emergency interventions.
Collaborate with physicians and the ED care team to stabilize and treat patients.
Manage multiple patients in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing care effectively.
Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care.
Requirements:
Active Ohio RN license.
Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
Strong ability to work under pressure and handle critical situations.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
