Excel Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Wilmington, North Carolina.

48 hours per week
Shift: 12 hours, nights
Employment Type: Travel

Job Details:

Shift: Nights | 4x12 (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Weekly Hours: 36 or 48 available
Ratios: 1:6–7
RTO: Up to 7 days (not during orientation; must work 2 of 3 major holidays)
Call: None
Float: To similar units and affiliated campuses (within 15 minutes)
Weekends: Every other weekend
Special Requirement: Must be willing to work Storm/Hurricane Team if needed

Required Experience & Skills:

Minimum Experience: 2 years RN
Preferred Experience: Med Surg/Ortho
Traveler Experience: Not required
Skills:
- Dysrhythmia management (required)
- Oxygen protocol management
- Non-invasive airway management
- Peripheral line care/management
- Isolation precautions/PPE
- Rapid response activation
- EPIC charting (required)

Certifications:

Required: BLS
Preferred: ACLS, dysrhythmia interpretation, drip management, central line care, blood product administration

Compliance & Notes: Must pass EKG testing prior to start Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted) COVID vaccine not required Local Radius: Candidates must live 70+ miles from facility Travel Pairs: Allowed, but must be on different units Must be comfortable floating per facility needs
