Job Description: Registered Nurse - MICU

Location: Burlington, VT 05401-1473
Shift: Night (3x12-Hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Duration: 26 weeks

Requirements:

Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (pending licenses considered case by case)
Minimum 2 years of critical care unit experience
Prior travel nursing experience required (no first-time travelers)
Experience in a large, teaching hospital facility is mandatory
Certification Requirements:
- AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)
- AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification prior to start
- CCRN preferred
EPIC charting system experience within the last 2 years (required, non-negotiable)
Proficiency in managing complex ICU patients with multi-system diseases, COVID-19, ventilators, and advanced support devices
Ability to start IVs and manage multiple drips simultaneously
Reliable transportation required (personal or rental vehicle recommended)
Must be willing to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) and flexible scheduling
