CACI's SAFFIRE team is seeking a highly motivated Operation and Sustainment Engineer to manage the Operations and Sustainment (O&S) team for our NGA customers as part of the SAFFIRE program. You will be a critical element, working closely with users, our user support team and CACI's development teams ensuring that systems supporting the national security of our country remain available to their user base.
As our Operations and Sustainment Systems lead, you will have the opportunity to primarily support a user base consisting of geospatial and imagery analysts,
SAFFIRE is at the forefront of developing and operating state-of-the-art of Geospatial Intelligence analysis software. The SAFFIRE team builds and maintains an exceptionally powerful platform enabling our users to address challenging real-world problems by converting disparate data into actionable information.
In addition to the Team Lead Role, be a contributing member of the O&S Team supporting the operational deployment of systems and timely response and engagement with users.
Responsibilities: - Perform COTs software deployments, system configuration, system tuning, patching, and system monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Manage existing cloud systems.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-users who have questions or issues related to Geospatial Intelligence software applications, hardware, or other technology-related problems.
- Work in a team environment to solve complex problems including close collaboration with development engineers to properly diagnose and fix complicated technical issues.
- Thrive in a fast-moving environment and enjoy learning new technologies and overcoming new challenges.'
- Lead a team to provide excellent support and service to a large user base across the intelligence community.
- Lead weekly syncs with government and key stakeholders supporting the identification, resolution, and closure of high priority incident tickets
Qualifications:
Required: - Active TS/SCI Clearance with a polygraph (or agreement to take poly when requested)
- Experience with Agile Methodologies.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary for this job.
- Willing to work off hours to support installs and recurring maintenance activities.
- Possess an IAT Level II certification (like Security+), or be able to obtain certification within 6 months of hire date.
- Ability to be part of and lead a team
Desired: - Previous experience supporting both DoW and Intelligence Community customers, to include interactions with community seniors and military officers.
- Experience with GIS software.
- Experience with Kubernetes or other containerized applications.
- Experience with Esri software.
- Experience with Atlassian suite of software applications.
- Experience with Service Now.
- Continuous Monitoring Solutions - Elastic, Grafana, Prometheus, etc.
- Excellent communication skills.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$98,500-$206,800
