Role Overview
GSK are loooking for a Logistics Process Manager to join the team at London HQ. This person will be responsible for the sub process definition and operational effectiveness of the business process they ‘own’ within Warehouse Management (WM). The role will ensure the process within their scope, is designed to ultimately drive business benefit and to make it easier for employees utilising the process. The process owner is accountable to define the vision for the process and will be responsible for ensuring that vision is supported by process (sub process) definition, documentations (GSOPs, BPSDs, System Instruction, etc.) and associated materials (training materials). This role will be required to ensure that the process (and sub process) definition will be UpToDate at all time, associated with improvements, changes required from business (Legal, fiscal, regulatory, others) as well as changes driven by the system provider. The person in this role will support the Global Process Owner to ensure the process framework is sustainable by also monitoring adoption and adherence. This role will also focus on the ERP Evolution HANA implementation design for commercial warehouse management.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the GPO for the process vision and define the roadmap, for the Commercial W&D process (and sub processes) to drive business benefit, continuous improvement and ease of process use for the end user.
- Consult with the business to define and manage business rules, standard policies & procedures (for process, data, and service), controls, key performance indicators (KPIs), system roles, target operating model (when applicable).
- Ensure ERP HANA system design meets defined business requirements and govern standards, drive continuous improvement.
- Field or initiate template change requests, and in conjunction with the Product Owners, assess those changes and determine feasibility and business benefit.
- Develop and present (or support the presentation of) template change Valuation proposition Profiles (VPP)/ Change Request to the relevant governance bodies for review and approval.
- Develop the detailed solution / system design for the process / sub process and manage the impact of new initiatives on the business (sites and supply chain).
- Support, where applicable, business process system testing and pre and post go-live activities including cutover.
- Own and ensure training material, process documentation (e.g., GSOPs, BPSD, ARIS BPM) and other supporting material (e.g., end user self-help content) are developed and maintained.
- Monitor end user support, training, role mapping and communication effectiveness and assess end user feedback to identify any systemic issues.
- Assess process adoption and process adherence / compliance.
- Participate in the ‘Community of Practice’ for commercial W&D process to update the stakeholders and use this community to listen to the ‘Voice of the Customer’.
- Familiarisation with commercial business flows (in-market distribution) and Knowledge of SAP and interface solutions is required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Subject matter expertise (SAP HANA EWM) with strong process improvement experience.
- Excellent communication skills and a team player.
- Experience leading multi-functional teams within a matrix environment – including managing senior stakeholders.
- Business change leadership experience.
- Ability to stay ‘close to the ground’ to understand the ‘real’ end-user experience and perspective.
- Good knowledge of process design, lean sigma and other process improvement approaches.
- Broad knowledge across the end-to-end processes and ERP functionality to support these components.
- Business transformation experience preferred.
- Experience of Pharma, consumer goods / FMCG sector preferred.
