Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an
Senior Executive Assistant Supplier Quality Specialist to join our team located in the following locations:
Berkeley, MO; Hazelwood, MO; El Segundo, CA; Everett, WA; Huntsville, AL; Mesa, AZ; Ridley Park, PA; St. Charles, IL; Tukwila, WA. To be successful in this position, this individual must have leadership experience in Quality, Supply Chain and/or Manufacturing and should possess strong project management skills, and communication. We need a highly-adaptable professional who models Speak, Seek and Listen habits and utilizes their skills and experiences to make our organization better.
This role includes managing an operating rhythm and organization cadence, developing and providing status around key priorities and metrics, organizational work, internal and external communications, the planning and facilitation of events, integration with key stakeholders, and leading special projects.
The role will report to the Senior Manager of Operations Integration and support the Vice President of Supplier Quality while working closely with executives across the organization.
Position Responsibilities: - Works with Supplier Quality Director to define and execute team operating rhythm, and prepare for key meetings and visits with senior customers and stakeholders.
- Ensures objectives are met by prioritizing key organizational tasks and proactively communicating leadership direction, guidance, and expectations for internal and external audiences.
- Monitors and tracks project execution of related plans and communicates status.
- Strong time management, collaboration, decision-making, and leadership strengths in written and verbal communications
- Sound judgment and decision-making ability
- Excellent use of Microsoft Office Products - Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel ,Word, SharePoint and Teams.
- Responsible for leading and coordinating staff actions with the project managers and/or functional leaders.
- Coordinates LT staff meetings and creates content for BDS and enterprise-level leadership meetings.
- Coordinates the design, logistics, and facilitation of BDS SQ&PM meetings/events; develops and consolidates executive-level briefings.
- Forges relationships with counterparts across BDS and other Boeing Business Units to remove obstacles and solve problems
- Travel, on an as-needed basis, in support of, or with leadership or team
- Completing special projects and ad hoc tasks, as assigned
- Performing data analysis across multiple sources
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Security Clearance Post Start is required.)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): - Bachelor's Degree or higher
- 3+ years of experience working in Quality, Supplier Quality or Supplier Management
- 3+ years of experience in producing and presenting presentations at the Executive level
- 3+ years of experience leading projects or teams
- 3+ years of experience in Microsoft Office Products - Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint and Teams.
- 3+ years of experience collecting data from multiple sources, performing analysis and presenting data
- 3+ years of Developing / maintaining operating rhythm
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): - 3+ years of experience working in Tableau
- 3+ years of experience working with large scale data systems and analytics
- Experience working with Program management/ Project management
- 3+ years of experience using lean principles
- 3+ years of experience with continuous process improvement initiatives
Travel: This position may require up to 10% travel.
