Administrative Supervisor RN Nursing Admin

The Administrative Supervisor RN will:
- Receive reports and initiate patient care rounds on each assigned unit to assess care given, evaluate staffing patterns and discuss any pertinent patient problems with staff nurse(s)
- Act as consultant; lend clinical expertise and intervene as necessary in the assessment and performance of patient care
- Review daily staffing sheet and adjusts staffing patterns as necessary for on-coming shiftProvide a concise, timely, informative report to the Divisional Director and/or on-coming Supervisor
- Communicate, interpret and implement established policies and procedures
- Communicate to the individual Divisional Director /and or Unit Manager employee attitudes and performances, recommendations from staff, contributing factors that affect level of morale, incidents that occur and quality of patient care provided
- Work with Divisional Director/and or Unit Manager in counseling, initiation and administration of the disciplinary process in accordance with established policy
Requirements: - Must be a graduate of an accredited program of professional nursing.
- Must possess a current NJ registered Nurse License.
- Must possess a B.S. in Nursing or working towards degree.
- Must have five (5) years of nursing experience with evidence of progressive leadership experience.Must be able to attend Nursing Orientation Program.
- In addition, work requires orientation to acquire necessary familiarity with Hospital and Nursing Service Department policies and procedures.
- Must possess good verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills in order to deal with management problems and interact with staff, patients, families and significant others.
- Work required prolonged walking and standing (over 90% of work time).
- Works with critically ill patients in emergency situations and interacts with apprehensive families which produce a high level of stress and mental fatigue.
- BLS Certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association.
Night shift
Salary Range: 98,342.00 - 157,331.00 USD
We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including
job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.
The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
