Job Description
Join our dynamic team in the Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit, where you will provide exceptional nursing care to patients recovering from cardiovascular and vascular surgery. This role is crucial for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients post-cardiac and vascular surgeries including CABG, TAVR, lobectomy, and more.
- Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
- Execute complex procedures such as epidural management and tube feedings.
- Utilize advanced equipment and technology for patient management and treatment.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum experience in a stepdown or telemetry unit.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Preferred experience in cardiovascular or vascular surgical populations.
