RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work in 17-bed Emergency Department with 1:4-5 patient ratios
• Every other weekend required with track scheduling system
• Navy scrubs required dress code
• Work with RN, Paramedics, ED Tech, Patient Safety Attendants, and Switchboard/Phone Operator staff
• Utilize GE Monitors, Level 1, Zoll, CareFusion/Baxter equipment
• Document using Cerner FirstNet system
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, CPI
• Must have proficient IV skills and knowledge of vasoactive medications
• Perform procedures including Central Lines, Arterial Lines, Intubation, Cardiopulmonary Arrest/Resuscitation, Lumbar Puncture, Vaginal Exams, Urinary Catheterization, Paracentesis, Chest Tubes, External Jugular Line Insertion, and Intraosseous Line Insertion
• Floating based on unit needs, expected to complete only validated duties
• Must demonstrate positive, caring & compassionate attitude with spirit of learning
• Maintain accuracy in documentation with clear, concise, and consistent communication
• Meet expectations outlined in Nursing Scope of Practice and Corporate Code of Conduct
