Weekend Hours: As required by facility, rotating weekends
Call Requirements: Stand by for low census, 1 hour to report
Required Certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only, PALS, TNCC
Preferred Certifications: NIHSS
Years of Experience: 2+ years in a high acuity ICU with strong CVI understanding
Float Requirements: Will float to areas of clinical competence
Unit Information:
Number of Beds: 24
Patient Ratios: typically 1:2; estimates not guarantees
Equipment: IV pumps, vents, feeding tubes, GE monitors
EMR: EPIC
Hiring Profile:
Must Have Skills/Experience: minimum 2 years in a high acuity ICU with strong CVI understanding. Must be able to titrate complex IV gtts to include vasopressors
Preferred Skillset/Experience: prefer experience with CABG, cardiac surgeries, IABP, Impella
Type of Patients on Unit: cardiothoracic surgical patients, sepsis, thoracic trauma, and general medical ICU level patients
Personality Fit: flexible, adaptable, positive attitude, hard-working

Scrub Color: Black
Any unacceptable attire: Anything other than black scrubs, No t-shirts or sweatshirts not approved by Mercy
