**Job Title: RN - Cardiac Med/Tele (Nights - 12HR Shift with Rotation)**
**Job Description:**
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on the Cardiac Med/Tele unit. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a strong background in acute medical-surgical and telemetry nursing.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Cardiac Med/Tele environment.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, interpreting vital signs and lab results.
- Educate patients and families regarding their health conditions and provide discharge planning assistance.
- Be flexible to meet the facility's schedule and exhibit the willingness to float to other units when necessary.
- Willingness to take charge of the unit and participate in leadership training as needed.
**Job Details:**
- **Unit:** Cardiac Med/Tele
- **Number of Beds:** 37
- **Shift:** Nights (12-hour shifts, rotating between 7P-7A and 7A-7P)
- **Hours:** 36 and 48 hours per week available, with 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend.
- **Contract Duration:** 13 weeks
- **Charting System:** EPIC
- **Guaranteed Hours:** Contract Weeks: 91
**Required Qualifications:**
- Active New York RN License
- 1 year of recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry nursing
- 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates
- Current NIH and AHA BLS certifications
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- 2 years of recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry nursing
**Additional Information:**
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
- Must be willing to work on at least 1 holiday per contract.
