Job Description & Requirements

Position Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain mammography equipment to produce clear and accurate X-ray images of breast tissue.
- Position and compress patients' breasts for optimal image acquisition.
- Ensure patient comfort and provide clear explanations of the procedure throughout.
- Adhere to strict radiation safety protocols to protect both patients and staff.
- Evaluate mammogram images for quality and may require retakes to ensure optimal results.
- Maintain detailed patient records and documentation.
- Stay up to date on the latest mammography techniques and best practices.
- May assist physicians during diagnostic procedures (depending on the facility).
- Promote breast health awareness by educating patients on the importance of regular screenings.

Mammography license or certification required
Requirements - Must have 2 years of Mammography experience.
