Job SummaryProvidesmedical care to associates,conducts screenings, promoteswellness, and performssafety and healthfunctions.Helpspromoteandmaintainteammemberhealth.Maintainsaweeklypresenceonthe production floor.
Key Responsibilities
Promotesandscheduleswellnessactivities,includingparticipationinHealthFairsandShift Safety meetings. Supports Safety & Health goals.
Treatsteammemberinjuries/incidentsperoccupationalhealthdirectivesandscopeofpractice. Monitors work related injuries and ensures team members are seen at a minimum of once per week or per directives.
Contactscompanyphysiciansasnecessary(i.e.,restrictionclarification,afterhouremergencies, etc.).
Assistswithtrendanalysistoidentifyopportunitiesforimproving safety.
SchedulesCPR/firstaidtrainingandHazMatphysicals.
ConductsDrugandAlcoholtests,audiometrictests,andvariousotherwellnesstests.
Administersreturn-to-workprogramandManagementAccountabilityprogram.
Ensuresallnecessarymedicalsuppliesareavailableandinworkingorder.Regularlychecksand maintains medical equipment.
Maymaintainsafetydatasheet books.
Completesallmedicaldocumentationanddataentryincludingpatientcarereports.
Assistswithnewhireorientationandconductsnewhirechecks daily.
ServesasaVoluntaryProtectionProgramteam member.

WorkingConditions&Travel Requirements- Work will be performed in a variety of conditions including a climate-controlled office environment(s)andinamanufacturingplantenvironmentwithvaryingconditions,suchascold areas, wet areas, warm areas, chemicals, and other site conditions. This position requires the individual to wear and work in personal protective equipment while in the manufacturing environment.
- Thenoiseleveloftheofficeenvironmentisusuallymoderate;thenoiselevelinthemanufacturing environment may exceed 85 DBA and require hearing protection.
- Occasional travel may be required.
