Travel Nurse RN - Stepdown - $2,302 per week

LER Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Dayton, Ohio.

Job Description & Requirements

Shift: 12 hours, nights

Cardiac Telemetry Unit
Contract Length - 6-20 weeks; 13 weeks ACCEPTED
ICU exp does not count towards SD/PCU exp at this facility, therefore, you MUST have SD/PCU experience to be considered.
Targeted patient ratios are 1:5-6**
Must have the following requirements:
- EPIC experience
- 2 years of experience in specialty
- Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment
- BLS, NIH required, ACLS preferred - must be able to read and interpret strips
- IV Start
- Nurses will be fitted for N95 prior to working on the HRRU unit unless PAPR is offered/needed.
- 1.5 years exp and some level 1 or 2 preferred
- Travel experience preferred
Unit Details:
- Advanced Care Unit: Typical patients are heart failure, chest pain rule out, NSTEMI, post -procedure patients, COPD exacerbation, drug/ETOH overdose and withdrawal. RN’s must be competent to run IV drips such as heparin, nitroglycerin, amiodarone, Cardizem, insulin, cardizem, etc.
