Consolidated Medical Travel is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Redding, California.

36 hours per week
Shift: 12 hours, days, nights
Employment Type: Travel

Required Certifications

Required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, COVID vaccine
Preferred: PALS

Unit Requirements

Experience:
- MUST have:
  - ICP monitoring and ventriculostomy experience
  - OR experience with post-TPA stroke patients
- Minimum: 2–3 years ICU experience
- Prior travel experience strongly preferred (especially in fast-paced settings)
Ratios: 1:1–2 (90% of time is 1:2)
Common Cases: Trauma, strokes, head injuries, neuro, interventional radiology
EMR: Cerner
Tele: GE
Vents: Hamilton
Hospitalist: 24/7 in-house
RT & Pharmacy: 24/7
IV Team: No
Charge RN: Yes (no patient load)
Support Staff: No nurse aides
Floating: To telemetry and med-surg units
Scrub Color: Navy
Orientation: 1 day on unit

Additional Notes

Onsite proctored dysrhythmia test on day 1 (pass/fail)
Fast-paced unit — candidates must be adaptable, team-oriented, and willing to ask for help
Very traveler-friendly environment with strong interventional radiology program
Holiday RTO considered but not guaranteed
Schedule posted 6 weeks in advance
