Schedule
10-hour shifts from 0530 to 1800, plus call. Varied on-call during the week and one weekend call every 4th weekend (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday).
Job Description
The Cath Lab/IR RN will work in a fast-paced environment, responsible for providing pre-admission and post-care in holding, procedural nursing in the lab, PICC line insertion, IV conscious sedation, and airway management.
Responsibilities
- Provide pre-admission and post-procedure care in holding.
- Assist in procedural nursing within the lab.
- Perform PICC line insertions.
- Administer IV conscious sedation and manage airway needs.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience.
- Exposure to Interventional Radiology (IR) and peripheral vascular cases.
- Experience with impellas, IABP, shockwave, IVUS, FFR, IFR, swans, and roto devices.
- Comfortable with conscious sedation.
- Able to read and interpret telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
