Job Title: Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab
Location: New York, NY

Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks initially)

Shift Time: 7:00 AM-7:30 PM - 12 hours a day, 3 shifts a week

Expected Weekly Hours: 34.5 hours

Note: - Locals are accepted as well

Position Summary:

We are currently seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have strong critical thinking skills and be able to work effectively in high-pressure environments supporting interventional cardiology procedures. This is a day shift position with a schedule of 3x12-hour shifts per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with cardiac catheterizations, pacemaker insertions, angioplasties, and other diagnostic/interventional procedures
Monitor and document patient condition pre-, intra-, and post-procedure
Administer medications including conscious sedation as directed
Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Ensure sterile technique and proper equipment setup for each procedure
Respond to emergencies and changes in patient condition with confidence and competence

Required Qualifications:

Active RN license in the state of New York
Minimum of 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience
Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
Associate's Degree
Scrub & Circulate experience is required - Must have experience with preparation and pass off of catheters
