Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Home Health with Psychiatric Experience
Location: Newport Beach, CA – Orange County, CA and Los Angeles County, CA
Job Type: Per-Visit Compensation
Compensation:
- Start-of-Care Visits: $150–$200 per visit (based on experience and case complexity)
- Follow-Up Visits & Discharges: Slightly lower rate due to reduced time requirements
Role OverviewSeeking a skilled Home Health Behavioral Health RN to provide psychiatric care and case management in a home health setting. The role involves conducting psychological assessments, implementing interventions, managing patient cases, and collaborating with families and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Perform psychiatric evaluations and interventions in patients' homes
- Manage mental health cases, primarily within the geriatric population
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and communication with patients and families
- Travel within a 20–30 mile radius to visit patients
Qualifications- Active RN license in California
- Home Health experience required
- Psychiatric/Mental Health experience required
- CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
Additional Details- Schedule: Monday–Friday; nurses schedule their own visits during daytime hours
- Patient Volume: Typically 5–7 patients per day
- Mileage Reimbursement: Provided for patient visits
- Sign-On Bonus: Available only for full-time hires who remain fully productive for six months; paid out over the following year
- Relocation Assistance: Not offered unless candidate commits to full-time, productive schedule and has prior home health experience
Start-of-Care Visits: $150–$200 per visit (based on experience and case complexity)
