RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) on the 5th floor
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Up to 4 weekend shifts required, usually 3
• No required call shifts outside of the 3-12 hour shifts
• Must have cardiac experience, including drips
• Stroke experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Float to Med/Surg units as needed
• Dress code: Navy scrubs required
• Work with telemetry equipment
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Perform cardioversions as needed
• Work alongside team of 3 RNs and 1 PCT on day shifts, 3 RNs and 1 PCT on night shifts
• Ideal personality: outgoing, energetic, and organized

This healthcare facility operates a 12-bed Intermediate Care Unit providing specialized cardiac and stroke care. The facility utilizes modern telemetry equipment and Meditech EMR systems to support comprehensive patient monitoring and care documentation. The organization maintains a collaborative team approach with dedicated nursing staff and patient care technicians working together to deliver quality intermediate-level care for patients requiring more intensive monitoring than general medical floors.
