RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Cardiac surgery ICU experience required
• Device experience strongly preferred including IABP, Impella, CRRT, LVAD, and post open heart surgery care
• Provide coverage for day and night shifts
• Work with high-acuity patients requiring 1:1 nursing care
• Manage patients with complex cardiac devices and multiple pressors
• Support ECMO program for both cardiac and non-cardiac surgery patients
• Work in a fast-paced cardiac ICU environment with average census of 11-15 patients
• Maintain unit operations while supporting newly hired nurse graduates completing orientation
• Handle critically ill patients including fresh post-operative cardiac surgery cases
• Experience with ECMO patients preferred as unit averages 1.5 ECMO patients per day
