Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg

Facility: Adventist Health Mendocino Coast

Location: 700 River Dr, Fort Bragg, CA 95437

AssignmentLength: 13 Weeks

Shift: 12 Hours, Night, On Call

Hoursper Week: 36

Key Responsibilities

Deliver safe, effective, patient-centered nursing care according to established standards and nursing protocols.
Supervise and direct the activities of assigned nursing staff.
Coordinate patient care with other disciplines to ensure continuity and quality of care.
Utilize independent judgment and critical thinking in clinical decision-making.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation per facility and regulatory standards.
Adhere to infection control and safety standards in all nursing activities.
Provide patient and family education as appropriate.
Float to other units as needed to meet staffing requirements.

Requirements
Education:
- BSN (Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing) – Preferred
- Acute care facility experience – Preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California – Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – Required
Experience:
- Prior acute care nursing experience preferred.
