RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work 3x12 night shifts from 18:45 - 19:15 (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No call requirements
• Must have 2+ years Med Surg/Tele experience
• NV RN license required prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Must pass telemetry competency exam including identifying and measuring telemetry rhythm strips
• Provide care to combination of telemetry and medical status patients
• Patient population includes COPD, sepsis, COVID and respiratory illnesses, ETOH withdrawal, diabetes, GI bleed, etc.
• May be required to float to other units based on organizational needs and competency level
• Required to work major holidays - must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Eve + Day = 1 holiday)
• Must pick up one additional shift during each 4-week schedule period
• Schedule varies based on department needs and may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
• Provide comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team including CNAs, CCTs, Rapid Response Team, phlebotomists, EKG technicians, and therapists
